France bon appétit, the french produce logo
Since November 2008, all French agribusiness promotion activities have borne the France Bon Appétit logo. Devised by Sopexa as part of its delegation of public service for the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, this logo—now used in all France Export Team initiatives—expresses the common desire of French ministries and organisations to promote French products.
The logo features a simple and slender portrayal of the world-renowned symbol of France—the Eiffel Tower—accompanied by the legend "Bon appétit", representing an invitation to sharing and conviviality: key values of our culinary culture. French origins are clearly marked for both foreign professionals and consumers.
